Little Girl Seems To Be Walking Home With Her Mum. Then She Screams 5 Words That Stops Everyone In Their Tracks

Anyone who saw this little girl and woman walking by would simply assume they were mother and daughter, so when she let out a blood-curdling scream, everyone was shocked.

A Crossing Guard named Adrian Young was just about to go home after her shift at the Alexandria Avenue Elementary School in Los Angeles. Then suddenly, she heard the little girl screaming.

The girl yelled:

Please don’t let her take me. I don’t know her. She’s not my mom!”

Adrian turned around and saw a woman trying to forcefully drag an 8-year-old girl. The guard knew there was no way she would let the abductor succeed so immediately, she went on the attack. Adrian, only 4-feet-8-inches tall herself, quickly grabbed on to the little girl and held on as tight as possible.

The larger woman, seeing that she was about to be caught, attacked Adrian violently but the crossing guard was determined. She maintained her grip on the little girl until the kidnapper eventually let go.

Fortunately, Police was eventually able to find the woman who was identified as Maria Ramirez. She has been charged with one count felony kidnapping.

Adrian is being hailed a hero and Council member, Mitch O’Farrell honoured her at a public event, saying:

Sometimes superheroes come in small packages. And because of her diligence, training and awareness, and just because she cares so much about children, she prevented what could have been a kidnapping of a child.”

The girl’s mother, Sharon, was profusely grateful to Adrian for her courage and kindness.

If it wouldn’t have been for her I wouldn’t know where my daughter would be right now,” she said.
