Shakira is one of the most admired Latin American celebrities. She’s very talented, beautiful and, after two pregnancies, she has an incredible figure. However, in order to keep it she follows an exercise routine designed by her personal trainer, Anna Kaiser. Luckily, Anna has shared her secret and revealed 6 exercises which Shakira uses to tone her body and get rid of flabbiness.

1. Lunges

It’s as simple as bending the front leg at a right angle and stretching the back leg straight with a raised ankle. It’s best to do 15 repetitions on each leg to tone the butt, legs and hips.

2. Standing crunches

With your hands on your head, touch your right elbow to your left knee, then alternate. Perform two sets of 15 repetitions with each leg. To work the butt at the same time, you can do this in a squat position.

3. Push-ups

Lying down on the ground, support your weight on your wrists and toes. Bend your elbows to lower yourself, hold the position for 20 seconds and return to stretch your arms. Repeat this movement 20 times.

4. Cat pose

Yoga also helps keep the body in shape. Kneel down, rest your hands on the floor and arch your back. Hold this position for 30 seconds.

5. Sphinx pose

Another yoga pose is the sphinx. Lie face-down on the ground, support yourself with your forearms and stretch your back. Hold this position for 30 seconds.

6. Elastic resistance bands

Stretch the arms and hold a resistance band with both hands. Stretch the band, using the right arm to rotate the chest. Repeat with the left arm. The trainer recommends doing two sets of 20 repetitions on each arm.
